This isn’t about drills or flashcards. It’s about living Spanish—and living it together. Whether you’re just starting to explore the language or you’re a native speaker wanting to connect more deeply with English learners, this space was made for you. Each week, we step outside the classroom and into real-life moments where Spanish and English meet, clash, laugh, and learn from each other. The experiences are bilingual by nature and inclusive by design—because languagesdon’t grow alone, they grow in community.
Some weeks, we watch films and let Spanish wash over us. Other times, we walk the city with cameras or head to the market on a playful mission. No pressure, just presence. You’ll help someone with their Spanish, they’ll help you with your English, and before you know it, you’re not just learning—you’re connecting. That’s the real goal.
At some point, every learner hits a wall. Grammar gets boring, and apps don’t answer your questions. That’s where these sessions come in—designed to bring joy back into the process.
You’re not just learning words. You’re making friends who might become your practice buddies, your café partners, your co-conspirators in language mischief. You’ll share stories, get lost in conversations, and find comfort in the awkward pauses. If you’re Latino, this is your
place to meet English speakers who actually want to learn from you, who listen and exchange without judgment. And if you’re a native English speaker, expect a room full of
generous, curious people who will welcome your Spanish stumbles with love—and probably teach you a few new expressions too.
These are not performances. These are invitations—to speak, listen, laugh, and maybe change your relationship with language entirely. You’ll leave feeling lighter, braver, and more connected.
Tip: Think in Spanish Instead of Translating: Challenge yourself to describe what you see, plan your day, or even think out loud in Spanish. This will help you process the language more naturally.
No two weeks look the same, and that’s the point.
You might be watching a short film one day, snapping photos in the city the next, or helping someone order coffee in their second language. Everything is bilingual, immersive, and playful.
We meet in small groups—just enough people to keep it intimate. Activities are flexible, depending on the vibe, the weather, or the stories people bring that day. You don’t have to be fluent. You don’t even have to speak much. Just show up, curious and ready to share.
Most sessions run on a voluntary contribution basis (think $5–10 suggested), which helps keep the project alive and supports the time and love poured into it. They’re free for current students and during launch events.
This is a place where what you bring matters—and what you take with you is often more than just a new word.
You don’t need a perfect accent, a vocabulary list, or a plan. But maybe you’ve got
that itch to belong somewhere, in both Spanish and English.
You might be new in town, a local looking for something different, a quiet type with
loud dreams, or someone who just wants to feel the language instead of study it. You
might be Latino, trying to meet up people for practice your English. Or an Aussie, just
curious about why this language sounds like music.
You might not know what you need—but you’ll feel it when you find it.
If you’ve been waiting for a sign, this is it.
We’re building something real here. Come be part of it.
Hey. I’m Daniel.
Colombian, based in Brisbane, somewhere in between Spanish and English — most days both, some days neither.
This whole thing didn’t start because I had a brand or a business plan. It started because I missed the way language feels when it’s alive. When it’s shared between people, not just taught from a book.
I’ve always loved helping people learn — but I’m not really interested in being the teacher. I’d rather be the guy who sets the mood, makes you feel safe to try, and reminds you that even when your words feel clumsy, they still matter.
These experiences? They’re kind of like little experiments in connection.
Sometimes they’re playful, sometimes deep, sometimes a bit awkward — just like language itself.
You don’t have to get it right. You just have to show
up.
And if at some point you decide to learn more formally, I’ll be right here — not as a guru, just as someone who gets it.
Not in a stiff interview way—just a real conversation. I’ll ask about your goals, but also about what excites you, what frustrates you, what you wish you could do in Spanish right now. Because that’s where we start: not with what a textbook says, but with what you say.
No pre-made syllabus. No irrelevant topics. Just a structure that works for you—whether that means prepping for a trip, handling work conversations, or finally getting through a Spanish movie without subtitles.
This isn’t about memorization—it’s about application. You’ll learn through real conversations, practical exercises, and interactive challenges designed to make Spanish second nature.
Forget cookie-cutter lessons. This is Spanish that fits you—your goals, your pace, your world. Whether you’re preparing for a trip, boosting your career, or just speaking with confidence, we’ll make it real, practical, and yours.
Conversations flow easier when you're in good company. Mistakes don’t feel like mistakes when everyone’s figuring it out together. And Spanish? It stops being something you “study” and starts being something you use.
